About Us

The North West Paddle Festival is run in a not for profit capacity by volunteers and is aimed at encouraging new paddlers and those with an interest in adventurous outdoors activities in to canoeing and kayaking and supporting existing paddlers in the North West.

Past helpers and volunteers have included Salford University Canoe and Kayak, and many friends and family.

It is a great family and fun orientated weekend with coaching and competitions for all abilities. In the past it has attracted a large number of families and clubs and with a pool, canal and river on-site it is an excellent venue for beginners to flat or moving water.

This year we aim to expand the event, offering more opportunities to local people to take part in adventurous outdoor activities.
